This tropical fish has the Wade stamp at the bottom of the base. Most of the ceramic animals were in neutral tones and not as colorful as this fish.
This kitten has a bit of color in its pink ball of wool.
If I show a feline, then I must in good conscience show a canine. The expression on this cute puppy's face suggests he's mischevious.
Finally, a fawn with a speckled coat.
While I am no longer a collector of these figurines, I have a small box full of them which are now memories from my childhood.
I'm sure Coloradolady has more vintage thingies to discover.
Happy VTT!

Aww, I love these! :)
I love the kitten.
Those are adorable - what a wonderful collection.
These are cute. Most of the ones that I've seen are a single color.
So darlin'!!!!!
I love all of these so much! They're all so cute! I started collecting them just before they stopped putting them in the boxes. I was so sad to see it end. But while I was collecting, I couldn't drink the tea fast enough, I was so excited to buy another box! Thanks for reminding me about these little cuties!
Happy VTT!

My Grandmother used to get them, and my Great Grandmother. We didn't seem to put much value in them at the time, but they are precous now, aren't they? My Mom says they are starting to put them in the tea boxes again, but milk glass rather than the old style.
These are adorable...and I have never paid much attention to these little things in antique stores, I love the dog...so sweet. Have a great VTT!
Very adorable. I have several as well, but I've not been able to take any good pictures.

I have a little box of these too. I remember urging my mom to drink more cups of tea so I could collect them more quickly!
I never realized that Red Rose Tea wasn't available in the United States before the eighties!
I get such an education cruising the blogs!

They are sweet. Thanks for posting them. I often wonder where the cute little figures you see in shops come from.
I think Red Rose Tea was here before the 80s. I remember an ad with a chimpanzee singing about Red Rose Tea on TV when I was a kid. And I think they did something with movie passes too, reduced price to go to the movies with something cut from a RR Tea box. My mom drank Salada, so I never had the coupon.
