Fan and Feather: I'm Ready to Knit Lace!

My Multnomah Shawl was neglected a bit this week. You see hubby and I joined a gym. Being keeners, we went at it with great determination. However, I'm sure the fan and feather lace I am now about to begin knitting on my shawl will benefit from my newly found biceps!

This is my shawl pre fan and feather:

Wish me luck as I attempt the lace knitting which I am oh so inexperienced at.

Now, I'm off to see what other fiber people have been up to this week at Fiber Arts Friday hosted by Wonder Why Gal. See you there!

Happy fiber arting!

Feather and Fan is one of my very favorite patterns to knit. I'm sure this is going to be great, and I love those colors!

Very pretty! Good luck. And with the gym too.

That looks like a great place to start lace - the colors will look beautiful in that pattern.
Wish I was as keen on getting to the gym :)

Great shawl - can't wait to see the finished project! You can always join the Mulnomah KAL group on Rav if you get stuck. :)

I love the colors and what you've accomplished so far. I can't wait to see the finished project. As for the neglect, good for you joining the gym. I know I need to spin(my wheel) a bit less and spin (a bike) a bit more. Argh!

Thanks for sharing this post in Fiber Arts Friday.
