Yesterday, I made a trip to the big city. There was no time for yarn shopping much to my dismay. However, much to my delight, a copy of Knit Picks latest catalogue was waiting in my mailbox when I got home.
Yarn catalogues should really be wrapped in brown paper envelopes. I spent the evening fantasizing about the lovely yarn and patterns.
Being a bit obsessed about knitting socks lately, I couldn't help being tempted to order this:
You can "pick your poison" and buy a sock kit that allows you to choose from 324 different combinations of patterns for your own unique design. I have a crush on the Violet Martini kit in the upper left corner.
Sock obsession has crept up on me and I haven't even finished knitting my first pair. Am I normal?
Happy Obsessing!

I don't even knit socks, but when I saw those yarn packs on KnitPicks, I was tempted myself!
I thought that was the neatest ad, too!
You're very normal, sock addiction can get even the best of us!
I'm addicted to socks too! I love your choice...can't wait to see your updates as you knit on that yarn.
Totally normal! I'm in the middle of knitting a pair of socks myself and a skein of sockyarn upstairs in a plastic bin is calling me...bugging me... it needs to be knit with! Trying to have patience to finish this pair first, LOL!
Sock addition is normal. I have enough hand knit socks to last the rest of my life. I've knit at least a hundred pair for charity. All my family members have many pairs - but I only knit for the ones who actually wear them.
Doesn't that sound noraml?
