Warm Weather Knitting: My Jamaica Pouch

I casted on my One Skein Wonder Jamaica Pouch today. It's the Victoria Day long weekend here in Canada. The weather is warm and calling for a summery knit. In my knitting lawn chair complete with arm caddies for yarn and pattern (or beer), I relaxed with my needles.

Using the coral Serendipity Tweed yarn I won at Ally B's, I managed to get the circular bottom of the bag complete. You are suppose to use variegated yarn for this bag which enhances the spiral design. I'm sure it will look okay in this striped yarn.

I love warm weather knitting (and crocheting for that matter). Do you?

Happy Victoria Day Weekend my fellow Canadians!

That's a pretty yarn and you look so comfy! Do you prefer knitting in the round on three needles? Can't wait to see the finished project.

Lisa, for this project you had to start on three needles because you start knitting in the round on 6 stitches. I'd use circular needles with the amount of stitches I have now, if I had them in the size I need!

That looks like the perfect way to spend a day:) I like to quilt when it's cold and knit when it's warm.
